Mythological Mash-up

You come across an old text that claims you are in fact a demigod, a person whose one parent is/was a mythological god and whose other parent is/was mortal.  Many ancient civilizations such as Greek, Celtic, Sumerian and Indian hosted the belief in demigods and some still do.

Who was/is your godly parent? What would your “divine” gifts be? Do you have super-human strength? Can you walk through fire?

Write about a day in the life of your “demigod self”.

Get creative and more importantly….have fun! 🙂

Just took a moment to check my inbox for the night only to find a message saying that the lovely and talented Ash N. Finn ~ has nominated me for the “One Lovely Blog Award”!

The wonderful and talented Ash N. Finn who calls Dublin, Ireland home, is a wonderfully gifted writer and such an authentic soul. I am truly at a loss for words (which, trust me doesn’t happen often) and honoured that she has nominated me for this award. 🙂

For those who celebrated the Victoria Day Weekend…this one is for you.  For many the Victoria Day weekend marks the launch of the nice weather and to some the start of the warm weather outdoor festivities (camping, BBQ’s etc.).  For some Canadians it is often nicknamed the May 2-4, which is slang for a case of twenty-four beers.  The May 24 weekend is the weekend that many wild parties have been spawned…parties, you dare not speak of…or do you?!? You wake up the morning after the weekend and don’t seem to remember much of the preceding events but notice several things seem oddly out of place, namely…
