Last year, I had a wonderful time interviewing the very talented and brilliant contemporary artist, Danielle Davis (click here). Recently, I caught up with Danielle to see what is new and exciting in her world.
“Abstract painting is a visual language that communicates our broader reality, inspiring understanding, connection, and exploration of subject. Color, form, and movement are presented as an exploration of how we relate to ourselves and the world through our senses. Themes presented in my work come from direct observation and point of view, and are expressed in abstract forms, reflecting a larger perspective: absolutes are the questions themselves.”
~ Danielle Davis
Danielle has been busy not only with her wonderful work and new website but she has also become involved with an important conference being hosted by the International Bullying Prevention Association taking place in Nashville TN, November 10th through 12th. Danielle has donated one of her brilliant works of art to be auctioned off to raise funds for this wonderful cause.
“I am so excited to be able to donate a piece to this conference. The International Bullying Prevention Association’s platform of creating safer, healthier environments through deeper understanding & research, is one I support wholeheartedly. Efforts like theirs make a strong positive statement that enrich people personally and in their own communities by showing that the way to a better world is to create it, together. ” ~Danielle Davis
