“Love. Fall in love and stay in love. Write only what you love,
and love what you write. The key word is love. You have to get up in the
morning and write something you love, something to live for.”

Write about what you can do at this very moment to make a positive difference in someone’s life.  Will you donate time, objects or money to a charity? Will you do something to help out a friend, neighbour or complete stranger? Reflect and write! 🙂

Quote of the Week via www.BelindaWitzenhausen.com ~ February 21st, 2014

ink“In many cases when a reader puts a story aside because it ‘got boring,’ the boredom arose because the writer grew enchanted with his powers of description and lost sight of his priority, which is to keep the ball rolling.”

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” ~ Aristotle

Create an antagonist who is the antithesis of  who you are.  Make them subscribe to another religion, hold different political beliefs, be the opposite gender, express different opinions, be from a different socioeconomic background and come from an opposite environment. Live and breathe with this character for a little while, “walk a mile in their shoes”, then infuse them into your daily life. How do you get along? How do they relate to others in your life? Are you able to accept them for who they are ? Are you able to empathize with them? Can you even see a little of yourself in them?

Reflect, write and most of all, have fun! 🙂

“The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.”~Jessica Hische

What form does your procrastination take?…Now imagine that it takes on a life of its own. Write about procrastinating gone wild! What happens in your day-to-day life? How does it affect those around you? Do others think you’re crazy or are they super-supportive?

Get creative,  write and most of all, have fun! 🙂
