Welcome to the “We are the World Blogfest” (#WATWB ). The #WATWB was inspired by a simple conversation about how all the negativity on social media was weighing on us. Wanting to make a difference, we decided to try to do our part to infuse social media with all the good stories that are out there. We hope to share the stories that show kindness, compassion, hope, overcoming challenges and in general, the impressive resilience of the human spirit. For every dark, negative story out there, there is a positive, heartwarming story that will add some light and lift the human spirit. The last Friday of every month bloggers will share their stories led by five co-hosts, this month’s co-hosts are Eric Lahti,
Susan Scott, Inderpreet Kaur Uppal ,Damyanti Biswas, and Dan Antion,

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” ~Voltaire
Almost every nation in the world has been touched by COVID19. Globally most people are on lockdown unless you are one of the brave individuals caring for the masses whether it’s medically or keeping our supply chains moving so that we can have our necessities and you have my heartfelt appreciation.
Unlike previous plagues, we have so much more to keep us connected to each other and so many things to be thankful for. For many, putting your lives on hold, living indoors and cut off from friends and families can be lonely and extremely boring. But the old adage “where there is a will, there is a way” is ringing true for so many. Below is a collection of how some are finding creative ways to keep occupied and keep families together.
Whether or not we want to, we need to #stayhome and be diligent about #socialdistancing that is the only way we will beat this.
~Stay safe and Be Well~

It’s amazing what people can do when they have the free time to be creative. I hope when all this madness is over, we’ll all still find some time to stop and just let the juices percolate.
